Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled** Industrial Millwright** to join their maintenance team in Akron, OH.

**Pay Rate: **$28/hr - $32/hr

**Shift: **12 hour rotational shift

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, and power transmission systems

• Align, level, and install machinery using precision measuring instruments and alignment tools

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications

• Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime

• Support machinery installations, plant expansions, and capital improvement projects

• Replace and rebuild mechanical components including shafts, couplings, belts, chains, bearings, and seals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 3+ years of Industrial Millwright or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment

• Welding, fabrication, machining, and rigging experience

• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment
