Job Summary:We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join a highly automated manufacturing facility on the overnight shift. This is the highest technical level within the maintenance team, responsible for troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems with minimal supervision.
Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with automated manufacturing equipment, and the ability to diagnose PLC-controlled equipment.
Must Have Skills:- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience working on automated manufacturing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required)
- Experience troubleshooting conveyors, mixers, ovens, refrigeration equipment, or similar production machinery
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience troubleshooting things like motors, VFDs, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and conveyors
- Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures
Job Duties:- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC equipment
- Diagnose and repair motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, transformers, VFDs, and servo systems
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and HMI interfaces
- Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, regulators, and air systems
- Repair and maintain conveyors, mixers, ovens, refrigeration equipment, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and other production equipment
- Perform equipment rebuilds, precision alignments, and root cause failure analysis
- Lead complex equipment repairs and breakdown investigations
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures and recommend equipment improvements
- Support plant reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
Qualifications:- Minimum of 8 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Proven experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills with automated production equipment
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating overnight schedule
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
