Industrial Field Service Mechanic

Location: Winchester, VA

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Field Service Mechanic to join our team in Winchester, VA. This role involves performing on-site diagnostics, repair, installation, maintenance, and fabrication of heavy industrial machinery at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site welding and fabrication at customer facilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance
• Install and set up industrial machinery
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Read and interpret machine manuals and technical procedures
• Travel daily to customer sites
• Support plant shutdowns and respond to emergency breakdown repairs
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:

• Welding and fabrication experience highly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently

Schedule:

Typical schedule for the Industrial Services field crew is variable. Most work occurs Monday through Friday, starting between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM and ending between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Occasional Saturday and Sunday work may be required based on work load.
