Job Overview:

Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team at our Hardinsburg, Ky.  In this role, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with the repair, disassembly, and assembly of customer equipment and machinery in the designated area, as directed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Disassembles, reassembles, marks, photographs, andscanscustomerequipment andparts for further servicing
  • Provides key data and informationthrough the use ofdocumentedreporting system for Engineering andadditionaldepartments
  • Followsall OSHA and Company Safety Procedures whenaffecting repairs and/or maintenance procedures.
  • Activelyparticipatesin the Quality Program by ensuring quality and meeting standard expectations on all work completed
  • Consults withthe Supervisoras necessary to ensure a coordinated repair process
  • Coordinates and performs press work in portable,horizontaland vertical conditions
  • Maintains a clean workenvironmentby keeping all tools and parts organized asthe jobproceedsthrough the shop
  • Performs other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) High School isrequired
  • One to three years maintenance experiencerequired,or combination of experience and education may be considered
  • Experience in blueprint and sketch preparation
  • Requires ability to read andcomprehendblueprints,sketchesand directions
  • Mustpossessexcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Must have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in units of measure
  • Must be proficient in prioritization andmaintainingpaperwork and files
  • Strong analytical skills arenecessaryincluding problem solving
  • Mustbe able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Position requires standing, sitting, squatting,twistingor stooping forlong periods
