Industrial Maintenance Technician – $24–$40+/hr

Taldeco is looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for multiple manufacturing opportunities throughout Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan.

We are hiring maintenance professionals with backgrounds in automotive manufacturing, stamping, industrial equipment, automation, robotics, heat treating, machining, assembly, and other production environments.

Candidates do not need experience in every area listed below. We are hiring for multiple positions and will match candidates with opportunities based on their individual experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Work with motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and other production equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, sensors and wiring
• Work with PLC-controlled and automated equipment
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Repair and maintain stamping presses and related equipment when applicable
• Work with robotics and automated manufacturing systems when applicable
• Perform equipment installations, modifications and upgrades
• Document repairs and completed maintenance work

Experience We're Looking For

• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Industrial electrical experience; up to 480V experience is highly desirable
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Stamping press maintenance experience is highly desirable
• FANUC, ABB or other industrial robotics experience is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Experience with motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors or similar equipment
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus

Compensation

$24–$40+ per hour depending on experience and position.
