Hirsh Industries, one of America's most successful manufacturers of filing cabinets and storage solutions, is searching for a Maintenance Technician/Labeler Operator for its manufacturing plant in Dover, DE.  Position Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate SOHO pack line labeler to meet daily production needs
• Perform routine unscheduled and preventive maintenance on SOHO labeler, pack line conveyor system, flap tucker and case sealer systems
• Reports to daily morning E5 turnover meeting
• Conduct regular 5S area audits and drive adaptation of a high level of organization, visual control, and efficient use of space
• Maintain professional and effective communication with management and leaders.
• Other duties as assigned

 Essential Functions:

• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for the length of the assigned shift
• Must be able to utilize both hands
• Must be able to visually examine the product for quality
• Must be able to effectively communicate with others
• Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team
• Must be able to work assigned hours
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record

Required Experience:

• Prior industrial maintenance experience is required
• Prior technical experience is required
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and computer literacy
• Must provide own tools
