Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving our facility's machinery and equipment. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and a knack for hands-on work, we want to hear from you!

This role supports a variety of building and equipment maintenance functions including mechanical repairs, minor electrical work, servicing equipment and resolving hazards throughout the facility to enable safe and productive refractory coatings mixing stations and feeder core manufacturing work cell. Collaborates closely with site leadership, project engineering and continuous improvement leaders to drive improvements and achieve plant objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify issues.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
  • Utilize Limble software to plan, process and record work orders and maintain accurate spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Strong EH&S background.

You should be proficient in:

  • 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification
  • Conduit Pulling

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
