Job Overview:

Industrial Maintenance Associate

Precision Marshall Steel, a leader in the tool and die industry, is seeking dependable, hard-working candidates who take pride in their work. Industrial Maintenance Associates are responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment used to process steel plate and bar products.

Maintenance Associates are expected to determine the best way to make repairs to ensure maximum utilization of machinery and equipment. Thorough understanding of electrical, hydraulics, motors, pumps, welding, general construction and the ability to make such repairs in a timely manner is required.

Additional consideration will be given to those with experience in the repair, rebuild or installation of vertical, blanchard or horizontal grinders, band saws, milling equipment and the programming used to control such equipment.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Starting wage $27.40 – 31.62/ hr
  • Rapid progression increases - earn $32.21- $37.17/hr in just 2.5 years!
  • Fully-paid training on site (machine repair experience required)
  • Routine 4-day work week
  • 10 paid holidays / year

Requirements:

  • Current driver’s license
  • Clear background check and drug screen
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive mechanical knowledge/experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be physically fit – frequent bending/standing/walking/lifting/carrying
  • Willing to work shifts which may include weekends
  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
