Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
A Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all machinery and equipment within the facility. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and maintaining a safe working environment. They are essential for minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and lubrication of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Managing the inventory of spare parts and supplies for equipment maintenance.
- Training other employees on routine maintenance procedures and machine safety.
- The ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions is crucial.
- PLC
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
