Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for mid-sized manufacturer in Zelienople, PA. We are looking for someone with mechanical, electronics and electrical experience, maintaining production machines in a manufacturing, machining or fabrication environment. This person will perform repair, installation, predictive/preventative maintenance on production machines and equipment in the facility.

This is a local privately owned company with around 100 employees and growing, with one facility/site. This manufacturer designs and builds industrial technical products from metals. This company is a leader in their field and are known for their quality products. People in leadership roles know their employees and show they care about them. They provide a flexible friendly, engaging, and more relaxed work environment. Employee turnover is low and there is room for growth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager, this person will:

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts. Detect and repair defective control systems. Test and make adjustments to machines
• Preform preventative maintenance in machines and plant facilities such as air compressors, nitrogen lines and lighting systems
• Install and repair complex electrical equipment, including automated machines and process controls, control centers and panels, electronic controls and PLC’s
• Perform repairs involving plumbing and carpentry

Full time Monday- Friday 6.30AM- 3PM. Second shifts can be available but are not required. Saturdays are not required, but the maintenance team members will sometimes choose to come in to perform certain tasks when the site is quiet. There are no routine maintenance shutdowns.

Expected to pay in the $30.00- 40.00 an hour range, depending on skills and experience. Annual performance increases. Discretionary company bonus paid to all employees based on company performance. Full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Machine shop or metal experience helpful
• Understand motors, machine electronics and electrical systems
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for mechanical and electrical work. Good math skills
• Experience with 440 industrial electric
• Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, be resourceful and figure it out
• Able to communicate well with people at all levels
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of working in a fabrication environment
• Must be able to pass background and reference checks
