Position Overview

A stable manufacturing company is seeking an experienced ** Maintenance Technician** to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, automated machinery, electrical systems, and facility utilities.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, along with experience supporting PLC-controlled equipment, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and electronic control systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Install and repair motors, transformers, panels, breakers, conduit, wiring, and electrical controls.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.
  • Test electrical and electronic circuits using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs on production and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical power and facility utility systems.
  • Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activity in a CMMS.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to less-experienced maintenance employees when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Two + years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery and electrical circuits.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience repairing motors, controls, panels, breakers, wiring, and other industrial electrical components.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using a CMMS.
  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
