Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO (63110). In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal processing equipment and machinery. Hourly rate up to $49/hour depending on experience
Union benefits (very strong)
Weekly pay
Seniority-based scheduling (high likelihood of 12-hour overnights)

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electromechanical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Electromechanical Technician or similar role.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
Welding experience preferred but not required
Proficient in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
