Position Summary:
The Injection Mold Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Assist with mold changes, machine setups, and adjustments to ensure production runs smoothly.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Participate in continuous training to keep up with new technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in an injection molding environment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
