Job Overview:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment failures in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.

  • Install new equipment and assist in line modifications or upgrades.

  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders using a CMMS system.

  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies.

  • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and ordering as needed.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational needs.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance required.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems (120/240/480V), motors, drives, PLCs, and sensors.

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or HVAC is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments (hot, cold, dusty, etc.).

Preferred Certifications (Not Required):

  • EPA or HVAC Certification

  • OSHA 10/30

  • Forklift or Scissor Lift Certification

  • PLC Troubleshooting Basics

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
  • Electrical Repair
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
