We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in a precision metal manufacturing environment producing dental instruments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with openings on both 1st and 2nd shift.
This role is hands-on and best suited for someone who can independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues, perform repairs, support preventive maintenance, and respond quickly when production equipment goes down.
Shift Opportunities:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
Inspect machinery for wear, malfunctions, and developing problems that could lead to downtime.
Perform and support preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize production interruptions.
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals when diagnosing equipment problems.
Support pneumatic and hydraulic systems as applicable.
Document maintenance activity using a CMMS when applicable.
Work independently with limited direct supervision.
Communicate completed work and unresolved equipment issues clearly between shifts and supervision.
Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean work area.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform corrective repairs.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to production equipment needs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Technical maintenance training or certification.
$28.00–$34.00 per hour
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
