TekPro is partnered with a successful food processor in Milwaukee in their search for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their long-term! The position is on 2nd shift with 10+ hours of overtime per week, competitive hourly pay and excellent health and retirement benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the repair and upkeep of the facility and processing/packaging machinery.

• Perform preventative (PM) maintenance

tasks on company equipment.

• Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs

• Repair plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

• Work on electrical up to 480v

• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI

• Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards.

• Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping.

• Other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or

• experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

• 1-5+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines in the food industry

• Compliance and understanding of safety rules and regulations

• Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team setting.

You should be proficient in:

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
• Electrical Troubleshooting

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
• Conveyor Systems
