**WHAT YOU WILL DO:
**
- Perform
general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to solve problems and guide repair procedures
- Disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble equipment; perform basic fabrication and assembly
- Maintain facility systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical
- Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to keep operations running smoothly
- Support equipment relocation, installation, and requisitioning of parts or supplies
- Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures
**WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
**
- Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications
- Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Basic math skills
- Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset
