About the Role
Pro Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our manufacturing partners — a corrugated packaging facility in Lancaster, PA. This is a true multicraft role for someone who wants to build a career in industrial maintenance, working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a mix of corrugators, folder gluers, die cutters, and utility equipment. You'll be part of a team that takes pride in keeping production running, with training built in to help you grow your skills.
Schedule
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Monday–Friday base schedule
- $0.40/hour shift differential
- Weekend work is common — typically around 2 Saturdays a month
- Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 8/day and over 40/week, plus weekends and holidays
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdown calls in a live production environment
- Work across equipment including corrugators, flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, and boiler/air compressor systems
- Work as part of a team — this is a multicraft role, and training is provided to build out those skills
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery — comfortable working with minimal oversight (B-level tech and above; A-level preferred)
- Solid mechanical fundamentals: bearings, shafts and seals, gearboxes, and reading diagrams/schematics
- Electrical experience through 110–240V single phase, plus comfort with motors, wiring, sensors, and cabinet troubleshooting; 480V three-phase experience is a plus
- Basic hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting ability
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, with some weekend availability
- Corrugated packaging or printing industry experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Authorized to work in the US
- A technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Climbing ladders and working in tight, narrow spaces
- Lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs
- Wearing required PPE (safety vest, eye and ear protection, steel-toe boots)
