Industrial Maintenance Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Lafayette, IN | Pay: $26–$30/hr

Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a local manufacturing client. This is a full-time, long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with 1st and 2nd shift openings.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility systems

• Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication tasks

• Assist with installation, modification, and upgrades of equipment

• Maintain service records and coordinate repairs with vendors

• Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 4+ years industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience

• Electrical and welding skills (certification preferred)

• PLC/automation experience

• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings

• Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in varying temperatures
