The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for electrical and PLC troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair,
and maintenance of production equipment, with a strong focus on identifying electrical faults and restoring
equipment to operation. The role works hands-on with PLCs, VFDs, electric motors, three-phase power, sensors,
instrumentation, digital/analog I/O, and electrical control systems, as well as mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
equipment.
The technician supports preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives to reduce recurring
downtime and works closely with production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance teams. Responsibilities
also include documenting maintenance activity in the EAM system, following OSHA, LOTO, PPE, GMP, and food
safety requirements, maintaining 5S standards, and providing hands-on guidance to Entry-Level Maintenance
Technicians and Apprentices.
