Industrial Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, 4x10s) + Friday Overtime

Salary: $30/hr - $36/hr

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background to support a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.This hands-on role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support safe manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.
• Complete preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair CNC machinery, welding equipment, overhead cranes, presses, and other industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and replace or repair defective mechanical and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Service motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, couplings, and power transmission components.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, motor controls, control panels, and facility wiring.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, VFDs, relays, sensors, and industrial machine control systems.
• Perform work on 480V 3-phase electrical systems and industrial power distribution equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment including multimeters, megohm meters, and other electrical testing instruments.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with production personnel to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial production equipment, including CNC machinery, cranes, welding equipment, presses, or automated manufacturing systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to provide personal hand tools and toolbox.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and enter confined spaces when required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and reliability.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
