Maintenance Technician

Helion is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical skills to support production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely troubleshooting equipment, performing basic maintenance and repairs, and working as part of a team to keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a safety-first mentality while performing maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical components, including sensors, VFDs, servos, and other electrical controls.
• Safely use a multimeter to diagnose basic electrical issues.
• Understand how mechanical components interact and perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Install and repair mechanical components, including hydraulic pumps, bearings, and conveyor systems.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, including greasing bearings and maintaining production equipment.
• Work effectively as part of a team while asking questions and showing an eagerness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience and understanding of electrical components is required.
• Ability to safely use a multimeter and understand basic electrical systems.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of how mechanical components work together.
• Experience with equipment such as conveyors, hydraulic systems, bearings, sensors, VFDs, or servos is preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and willingness to learn are required.
