Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical expertise. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, systems, and machinery in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing system failures, and ensuring equipment uptime and reliability.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, including motors, drives, control panels, sensors, and industrial electronics.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and technical manuals for equipment maintenance and repairs.
Inspect machinery and systems to identify wear, electrical faults, mechanical failures, and safety concerns.
Maintain and repair control systems with emphasis on drives, inverters, relays, motor controllers, and low-voltage/line-voltage circuits.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and production teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance on maintenance logs and quality forms.
Perform machine adjustments, lubrication, alignment, and part replacements as needed.
Assist with installations, upgrades, and system modifications when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and regulations.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance or a similar role.
At least 1 year of experience working with control systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, inverters, VFDs, and motor controls.
Understanding of 480V / 120V / 24V AC systems and differences between AC and DC power.
Ability to identify wire colors, gauges (AWG), and proper electrical practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electronic systems.
Experience with plumbing, pneumatics, and HVAC is a plus.
Must own personal maintenance tools.
Ability to stand, kneel, and lift 50+ lbs as needed.
Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work both independently and with a team.
Must pass a basic written knowledge/aptitude test.
