Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of manufacturing and production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to reduce downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and other industrial equipment
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed
- Maintain PLC-controlled equipment and assist with troubleshooting automated systems
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities accurately
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school certification or industrial maintenance training preferred
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated equipment
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, and control systems preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working in manufacturing and industrial environments
