Job Overview:

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of manufacturing and production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to reduce downtime
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
  • Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and other industrial equipment
  • Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed
  • Maintain PLC-controlled equipment and assist with troubleshooting automated systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities accurately
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues
  • Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical school certification or industrial maintenance training preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and automated equipment
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, and control systems preferred
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing and industrial environments
