Industrial Maintenance Technician

Overview:
This position is responsible for and works with production personnel to meet set objectives for their assigned production lines in the areas of safety, quality, reliability, and scrap.
Additionally, this position is responsible for performing, monitoring and evaluating preventative maintenance plans for assigned lines and continually working towards improving equipment and processes.
Maintain and repair industrial equipment such as conveyor systems, palletizers, and vision systems
Troubleshoot PLCs and other industrial automation equipment
Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills to keep equipment running smoothly
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure minimal downtime
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and Repair High Speed Filling and Packaging Equipment.
- Support all Production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches, and leading and assisting on line changeovers.
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, water purification/filtration systems and other production equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and conveyor systems
- Troubleshoot and repair Palletizers and Vision Systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs and other industrial automation equipment
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills to keep equipment operational
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Conveyor Systems
- Knowledge of Palletizers and Vision Systems
- Strong PLC troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
