Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

**Industrial Maintenance Technician

** to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Columbus, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background who enjoys working with advanced manufacturing equipment and automation.

This position focuses heavily on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and identifying potential issues before they result in downtime.

**Responsibilities

**

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment.

• Maintain and repair CNC machines, robotic systems, conveyors, hydraulic presses, and automated production equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Inspect equipment, identify potential failures, and perform necessary repairs.

• Complete maintenance work orders and coordinate parts and materials needed for repairs.

• Work closely with the maintenance team to complete scheduled maintenance activities and support production readiness.

• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.

**Qualifications

**

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

• Familiarity with PLCs, automation, robotics, or CNC equipment.

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and industrial electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical or mechanical schematics.

• Automotive or highly automated manufacturing experience is a plus.

• High school diploma or GED required.
