Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
  • Repair and replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, sensors, switches, pumps, and other mechanical components.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment and control systems.
  • Inspect machinery regularly to identify potential problems before equipment failure occurs.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, adjustments, and upgrades.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Respond quickly to emergency equipment breakdowns and production needs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance/production team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be safety-conscious and comfortable working around industrial machinery.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, lift, and perform physically demanding work as required.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience, is comfortable troubleshooting production equipment, and understands the importance of preventive maintenance, workplace safety, and minimizing equipment downtime.
