• What you’ll start out doing?

• Learn our safety and quality procedures.

• Build a variety of skills related to processing and melting aluminum scrap, then transferring molten aluminum into molds.

• What to expect:

• This is a heavy industry environment with high safety and quality standards.

• Day shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with a scheduled shift every other fourth Saturday.

MONTHLY INCENTIVE BONUS: earn up to $500.00

As our new Maintenance Technician for Real Alloy, Chicago Heights facility, you will install, repair, construct, test, adjust, and service equipment. Our maintenance technicians maintain production equipment, plant equipment, electrical systems, mechanics, hydraulics, buildings and other equipment. All maintenance technicians need to be driven by our SAFE culture.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Heavy fabrication and welding experience desired

• Knowledge of mechanic work required

• General mechanical knowledge required

• Good positive attitude

• Excellent Attendance; Dependability

• Willingness to learn and apply what is learned

• Work safely and help maintain a safe work environment

• Hard working with a good work ethic

• Ability to operate power equipment

• Ability to work as a team and independently with little supervision; teamwork

• Strong written and oral communication skills; respectful communication

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to follow instructions

• Detail orientated

• MUST pass a drug screen and preemployment physical

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
