Job Overview:

Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a variety of industrial production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving mechanical problems, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, pumps, motors, and drive systems.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, switches, and control components.
  • Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Complete work orders and preventative maintenance documentation using a maintenance management system.
  • Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area while following all company safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical systems is preferred.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
