Maintenance Technician

Helion is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills to support production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting production equipment, and minimizing downtime while working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, drives, contactors, limit switches, and basic I/O.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Repair and maintain blenders, mixers, pumps, motors, fillers, sorters, packaging equipment, and related production machinery.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to keep equipment operating efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all plant safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is required.
• Previous conveyor maintenance experience, including PMs and troubleshooting, is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience with motors, drives, contactors, limit switches, and basic I/O.
• Experience performing both preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting on production machinery.
• Strong teamwork, attitude, and attendance are required.
• Ability to work effectively as a contractor and integrate with an existing maintenance team.
