Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright

Express Employment of San Bernardino is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright with strong mechanical and electrical experience to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience in maintenance-related fields including computer-operated machines, industrial electrical, and welding.
Experience with pump and motor repair.
Licensed Millwright preferred.
Plumbing experience a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs minimum and stand/walk for long periods.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and transition from day shift training to night shift.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as needed.
Respond to and complete emergency repairs and adjustments while production is running.
Conduct smooth and efficient equipment changeovers.
Modify or fabricate equipment to improve production reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum uptime and product quality.
Maintain off-site facilities and plant operations as required.
Complete and maintain accurate shift maintenance logs.
Oversee the start-up and shutdown of plant equipment daily.
Work safely around equipment that may involve chemicals (caustic, acids, ammonia).
Be available for on-call emergency support.
