Job Overview:

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on 1st shift. This is a preventive-maintenance-focused role where you'll work as part of a maintenance crew keeping critical production equipment running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and experience working with motors, gearboxes, pumps, precision measurements, machine timing, and equipment alignment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform extensive preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment

  • Troubleshoot, repair, tear down, rebuild, and maintain industrial machinery

  • Work on:- Pumps

    • Gearboxes
    • Vacuum pumps
    • Motors
    • Bearings
    • Shafts and rotating equipment
  • Perform shaft and component alignment

  • Grease and service bearings and other mechanical components

  • Perform precision measurements to ensure equipment is properly installed and operating

  • Assist with machine timing and mechanical adjustments

  • Complete scheduled PMs, including maintenance activities that may take multiple days or an entire week

  • Participate in equipment rebuilds and major teardowns

  • Assist with maintenance projects and equipment improvements

  • Work alongside other mechanics as part of an established maintenance crew

  • Follow maintenance procedures and safety requirements

  • Document completed maintenance and repairs

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an industrial mechanic, millwright, or maintenance mechanic

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment

  • Understanding of:- Motors

    • Gearing
    • Pumps
    • Machine timing
    • Precision measurements
    • Component alignment
  • Experience with gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and rotating equipment

  • Ability to perform shaft alignment and mechanical repairs

  • Comfortable with equipment rebuilds and extended maintenance projects

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team

Training & First Few Weeks

  • The first 1–2 weeks will be a gradual introduction to the facility and equipment
  • You'll be partnered with another mechanic on day shift
  • You'll learn the facility, equipment, maintenance procedures, and expectations
  • You will remain part of a maintenance crew throughout the role
  • As you become familiar with the operation, you'll take on more complex PMs, rebuilds, teardowns, and projects independently
