We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude, a go-getter attitude, and a willingness to learn. The right candidate will have a solid mechanical foundation, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, and the drive to learn the equipment and become an independent technician.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, both mechanically and electrically.
Wire and troubleshoot 3-phase motors and use a meter to diagnose electrical issues.
Perform daily walkthroughs of production equipment, including corrugators and converting equipment.
Complete daily and weekly preventive maintenance (PM) work orders.
Respond to reactive maintenance and production downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair:- Electrical panels and controls
Communicate effectively with operators to understand equipment issues and resolve downtime quickly.
Document completed work orders using tablets and laptops.
Learn HMI settings and understand how production equipment is operated.
Take advantage of onsite training in areas including boiler maintenance, electrical systems, and OEM corrugator equipment.
The shift begins with a changeover meeting to review and prioritize work left from the previous shift. From there, you'll complete a daily walkthrough of the production equipment and balance preventive maintenance with reactive repairs and downtime calls.
When production is running smoothly and PMs are caught up, you'll have access to onsite training resources to continue developing your electrical, mechanical, boiler, and corrugator-specific skills.
