Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Day Shift (with overtime as needed)

Compensation: Based on Experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Helper to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of a busy manufacturing and machine shop environment. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys a variety of maintenance, repair, facility support, and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on shop equipment.

• Assist with general maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.

• Complete minor building repairs, painting, plumbing, and other facility maintenance tasks based on skill level.

• Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles.

• Drive company vehicles to run errands, pick up supplies, deliver materials, and support operational needs as required.

• Support shop cleanliness and organization, including:

• - Managing scrap bins

  • Sweeping floors
  • Emptying trash and recycling
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Organizing work areas
  • Wiping down equipment

• Follow established maintenance schedules and work orders.

• Assist with other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, mechanical, facilities, or general labor experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Comfortable operating company vehicles for local errands and deliveries.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
