Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner / CMMS Specialist to support and improve the plant's maintenance program. This position will play a key role in planning and scheduling preventive maintenance, maintaining the CMMS, developing work instructions, and ensuring technicians have the parts and resources they need to complete upcoming work.

The ideal candidate is organized, highly computer-literate, comfortable working with maintenance systems, and able to manage multiple priorities. Experience with MVP is a plus, but experience with other CMMS platforms will transfer well.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can either follow an established maintenance process effectively or take an underdeveloped program and help build, organize, and improve it.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) activities through the CMMS
• Generate, maintain, and improve preventive maintenance schedules
• Create and update work instructions and maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Manage maintenance parts inventory and ensure critical parts are available
• Kit parts and materials for upcoming PM and maintenance work
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure jobs are properly planned and supported
• Help identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and PM effectiveness
• Utilize Excel and other computer systems to organize, track, and analyze maintenance information
• Learn and utilize plant-specific software and ordering systems
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance department

Qualifications

• Previous experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, or CMMS systems
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience generating and scheduling PMs
• Experience creating or improving maintenance work instructions
• Experience managing maintenance parts inventory
• Ability to organize and kit parts for upcoming maintenance work
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred
• MVP CMMS experience is a plus, but not required
