Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in manufacturing environments, and the ability to diagnose equipment issues while minimizing downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Replace bearings, chains, sprockets, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and equipment breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures efficiently.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and machine repair preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Welding certification or fabrication experience preferred.
• Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday (overtime as required)
• Competitive pay based on experience
