Job Description

> I am working on a job opening for my direct client Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed and on fulltime basis they are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic who can keep their manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. They need someone with at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience who can troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, assist with electrical repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize production downtime. The candidate should be able to read blueprints and schematics, use hand and power tools, operate forklifts and lifts, and have MIG welding experience (TIG is a plus). They also want someone who is safety-focused, comfortable working the 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM), and willing to work other shifts when needed. Working in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment is highly preferred.

Top Must-Haves

• Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance/mechanic experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Basic electrical maintenance experience
• MIG ORTIG welding is a plus
• Preventive maintenance (PM) experience
• Manufacturing/industrial plant background
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable working the 3rd shift and overtime if needed
• Basic computer skills and CMMS experience
