Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $20–$35/hour DOE

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can diagnose equipment issues, complete repairs efficiently, and perform preventative maintenance to keep operations running safely and reliably.

Pay will range from $20–$35/hour depending on experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and equipment failures
• Repair or replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, gearboxes, chains, and other mechanical components
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and potential failures
• Perform equipment adjustments, alignments, lubrication, and routine servicing
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems as applicable
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring tools
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Document completed repairs and preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or industrial mechanic experience required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience repairing industrial machinery and production equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, and related components preferred
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
• Dependable with strong attention to safety and equipment reliability
