Job Title:Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location:Mundelein, IL

Compensation:$25 - $40 per hour

Our modern, high-speed facility is a model of advanced food production, featuring state-of-the-art cooking, processing, and packaging technology. We are highly automated and leverage smart manufacturing principles, with integrated systems and PLC-controlled equipment ensuring optimal efficiency, food safety, and product quality.

The Opportunity:

This is a critical role for maintaining our complex, automated production environment. You will be key to minimizing downtime, supporting new project installations, and ensuring the reliability of our high-tech processing and packaging equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of industrial food processing, cooking, chilling, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (Allen Bradley is a major plus), which are integral to our interconnected production lines.
• Work with industrial refrigeration systems, thermal processing equipment (ovens, cookers), and related food manufacturing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced maintenance staff and support personnel.
• Maintain strict adherence to all food safety (GMP, SQF/HACCP) and workplace safety protocols in a wash-down environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems repair.
• A solid, mid-to-senior level technician who can work independently, learn our specific processes, and contribute effectively.
