Job Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time opportunity in Guilderland Center, NY. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production and warehouse equipment to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable troubleshooting issues independently while coordinating with vendors when necessary.

Job Type:

Full-time, in person

Pay:

$23+ / hour (depending on experience)

Tasks:

• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on warehouse and production equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on powered industrial equipment, including reach trucks and battery charging systems

• Monitor and maintain battery systems for performance, charging efficiency, and safety compliance

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues independently; coordinate complex repairs with outside vendors when required

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service documentation

• Manage spare parts inventory and assist with parts ordering as needed

• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

• Support overall facility operations through general maintenance and repair tasks

• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required (technical or vocational training preferred)

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to communicate clearly with operations teams and vendors

Schedule:

Full-time; 830AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday
