Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a skilled individual with strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting abilities to support manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and production operations. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment installation, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components to minimize downtime.

• Adjust, maintain, and support production machinery to keep operations running efficiently.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and equipment manuals.

• Assist with installation of new equipment, including electrical, air, gas, water, and hydraulic connections.

• Maintain piping, fittings, valves, gauges, and other control systems.

• Perform routine inspections and identify safety hazards or needed repairs.

• Maintain maintenance logs and repair records.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support continuous improvement projects.

• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or maintenance mechanic roles.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and production machinery.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspections.

• PLC experience is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
