Industrial Maintenance Electrician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Our client is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join their maintenance team on either 2nd or 3rd shift. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. The Industrial Electrician will help ensure all production equipment, motors, wiring, control panels, sensors, and automated systems operate safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

• Up to $40.00/hour (based on experience)
• $0.75/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

Schedule:

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

• Overtime opportunities available

Job Duties:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery including slicers, dryers, sawmill equipment, payloaders, forklifts, and other production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, motors, sensors, and machine controls
• Run conduit and perform electrical installations as needed
• Work with PLCs to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Set up, configure, and verify proper operation of electrical components and systems
• Assist with preventative maintenance, facility maintenance, and on-call maintenance needs
• Perform routine equipment inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact production

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
• Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
• Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience required
• Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, and production equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
