Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain electrical, electronic, electromechanical components and instrumentation on production equipment and systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Electrically troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of industrial machinery, equipment and systems. This involves both electrical and electronic troubleshooting.
- Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
- Assists engineers in operating test equipment to obtain performance data on parts and assemblies under varying operating conditions.
- Plan and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment up time.
- Help diagnoses test equipment malfunctions, and services and repairs equipment as required.
- Keep neat orderly records and order electrical spare parts.
- Ability to work at Euclid or Mentor facility.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology is preferred.
- Must pass the skilled trades’ assessment test for this position.
- Must have some knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting. Some knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems.
- Must have some level of capability and knowledge of wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, solid state devices, codes and the operation of electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge in relay logic and programmable controller logic is necessary.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to work in confined areas, climb ladders, and work at heights of 28 feet.
