Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Contract to Hire | 1st Shift | Overtime Available

A manufacturing facility in the Metro Detroit area is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support production equipment and facility maintenance operations. This is a hands-on role working within a production environment performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance.

This position is contract to hire with overtime available based on production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and electrical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

• Repair and replace motors, sensors, wiring, and related components

• Support general machine and facility maintenance as needed

• Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance standards

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment

• Electrical troubleshooting experience required

• Mechanical maintenance experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment issues

• Experience working on production machinery and manufacturing equipment

• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus

• Ability to work overtime as production demands require
