Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Will Train on First)
Pay: Based on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems to ensure smooth and safe operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical experience looking to grow within a stable manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment
- Knowledge of distributed control systems
- Sanitary pipe welding experience (preferred for higher-level roles)
- Experience with boilers, compressors, HVAC, and building maintenance
Education
- Associate’s degree or technical training in electromechanical, mechatronics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
