Position Summary

Industrial Construction Company is seeking skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electricians (Journeyman) to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial and commercial projects. This role is responsible for executing work in accordance with electrical codes, company standards, and client requirements while providing direction to helpers and top helpers as assigned.

Normal Working Hours

• Monday through Thursday
• Typical 4x10 work schedule
• Overtime as required based on project needs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Perform conduit bending, wire terminations, and equipment connections
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and client safety requirements
• Direct and mentor Electrician Helpers and Top Helpers
• Coordinate tasks with supervisors and other trades
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and documentation
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or near misses immediately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb, balance, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at heights
• Ability to work in industrial environments including confined spaces
• Operate hand and power tools safely throughout the workday
• Maintain focus and situational awareness in active jobsite conditions

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience required
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Flexible schedule including overtime as required
