Job duties:
· Grinds various sized turned bars to exacting size and surface tolerances
· Operates automatic drill press, vertical mill, overhead cranes and forklifts
· Actively supports all PTS Management System activities i.e. 5S, Failure analysis etc.
· Provides ideas and feedback that are used in areas of continual improvement of all facility activities
· Supports all job functions by being cross trained in each area
· Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements
· Exercises independent judgment as needed
· Observe and follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules,
· while seeking continuous improvement.
· Follow all environmental requirements and regulations, while seeking continuous improvement.
· The incumbent is responsible for his/her safety as well as his/her colleagues, seeking continuous
· improvement related to employee’s health and safety, environment and the process efficiency and customer’s satisfaction with the quality of products and services. All efforts must be directed for preventive actions.
· 5S and routine equipment care
· Any additional duties that may be assigned by management
