As part of our #OneLSI movement: We are looking for a Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician support our team at our location in Tampa, FL.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all industrial machinery to ensure it meets optimal working standards. This role involves managing outside vendors for maintenance work, documenting progress reports and maintenance logs, and overseeing equipment stock, including placing orders for new supplies when necessary.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Safety Sensitive position.
  • Maintain all industrial machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial machinery as needed.
  • Reinforce industrial machinery safety, conduct safety training, and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all safety standards in the assigned area.
  • Manage outside vendors for the execution of maintenance work.
  • Document progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Ability to read and understand wiring Schematics
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office programs
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Trained in lockout/tagout (LOTO).
  • Demonstrate hands-on shop floor experience in both metal and wood manufacturing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
