Job Description

The Industrial Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting Industrial Engineering team completing time observations, sign making, 5S assistance and updating work instructions as required to support daily production. The IE Technician will also be engaged in daily trouble shooting of performance issues plantwide as required.

What You Need to Know:

• Document creation to include but limited to;
• Completing Time Observation Videos
• Identifying the wastes within the video and determining potential solutions
• Provide updated WI to operations as updates occur
• Assist with the implementation of 5S improvements
• Complete KPI Board, Process and 5S Audits.
• Capable of learning Vinyl Master to include Sign Design, Cutting Sign and Assembling the sign.

What We Are Looking For:

• Understanding of basic Lean (waste Identification) & Ergonomic principles
• Ability to use MS Excel & Teams to document and communicate within the team
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education/Experience:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to traverse the production facility including stairs and ladders.
