We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer to support the implementation of a new semiconductor fabrication facility. This position will play a crucial role in evaluating potential line locations, assessing their suitability for semiconductor manufacturing, and developing an efficient tool plan for the line. Your expertise in industrial engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, and planning will be essential in ensuring that our line operates at optimal efficiency, meets industry standards, and delivers high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and finance, to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables related to line selection and tool planning.
- Evaluate line location options based on industrial engineering principles, including layout optimization, material flow analysis, and production capacity planning.
- Analyze the equipment needs for the line, considering production requirements, technology advancements, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to develop a comprehensive tool plan, ensuring the selection and procurement of appropriate tools to meet production demands.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess tool options, considering factors such as performance, maintenance, cost, and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the tool plan into the overall fab design, ensuring optimal equipment placement and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and tool planning.
- Proficient in industrial engineering principles, including layout optimization, material flow analysis, and production capacity planning.
- Experience in evaluating and selecting semiconductor manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.

$154,000.00 - $212,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
